The sixth installment in Glenmorangie’s A Tale Of limited-edition series, A Tale of Spices, showcases the vibrant aromas of a spice market. Created by Dr. Bill Lumsden and master blender Gillian Macdonald, it features a blend of four whiskies matured in bourbon casks and finished in various cask types to enhance spice notes.
Notably, this release uses Moroccan red wine casks and STR casks, previously employed in Glenmorangie Milsean. Additional new charred oak casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks contribute richness and fruity sweetness. The series draws inspiration from personal memories and experiences.
It is bottled at an ABV of 46% and retails for $92 per bottle. Availability is very limited.
