The Glenmorangie The Cadboll Estate belongs to the limited-edition “field-to-glass single malt series” from the Scotch brand.
It is aged for 15 years, and 2023 bottling represents the third batch. As for the previous releases, everything begins in Glenmorangie Distillery’s 440-acre barley fields located on the Cadboll Estate, planted and harvested to Dr Bill’s (Director of Whisky Creation) specifications. This Cadboll barley is then mashed and distilled in the towering copper stills.
It is matured in American oak with a small portion further aged in Amontillado sherry wine casks. The ABV is 43% (86 proof).
