Templeton Distillery 10 Year Reserve Rye And Chance For Entrepreneur’s Grant Program

Templeton Distillery has announced a new 10 year Reserve Rye Whiskey and the Templeton Distillery Entrepreneur’s Grant program. The Templeton 10-year-old Rye is the latest addition to the brand’s core line offerings. The 10 years will also have the brand’s new label design. The Rye whiskey is aged for 10 years in charred new American Oak Barrels and bottled at 104 proof (52% ABV). The 750ml size bottle will have an MSRP of $85. For more information about the 10 Year Reserve Rye, go to Templeton Distillery’s website at https://templetondistillery.com/whiskey/10-year-rye/. Along with the brand’s new 10 year Reserve Rye, Templeton is also starting the distillery’s Entrepreneur’s Grant program. The program will award three small business winners, each a $10,000 grant. Applications will be accepted from May 10th through July 11th, 2021, with winners announced in August. The grant program is open to US-based businesses that do not sell alcohol and must be over the legal drinking age of 21 years old. The business must submit a 250-word entry on why Templeton should consider them for the grant.  The panel of judges will include actors Brandon Routh, Hill Harper, a couple of local Iowa-based business founders Christina Moffatt, Pernell Cezar, and Rod Johnson, and Templeton Distillery’s co-founder Keith Kerkhoff. The judges will base their decision on originality (40%), contributions to the local community (40%), and business viability (20%).
