Kavalan has launched a limited release of Mizunara Oak whisky in collaboration with Japanese artist Takahide Komatsu. This collection includes two single cask strength expressions. One from unpeated malt and another from peated malt.
The artwork on the bottles features twelve butterfly species native to Taiwan. “At Kavalan, we believe whisky making shares a natural connection with artistic creation,” said Mr. YT Lee, Chairman of King Car Group.
Both expressions are available in 700ml bottles, with a limited Hand-painted Collector’s Double Set featuring signed artwork by Komatsu.
The collection can be found at Kavalan’s official stores in Taiwan and select liquor shops.
