Ahead of the Lunar New Year, Kavalan Distillery is unveiling 2024 Whisky Gift Sets, honoring the Year of the Dragon.
Kavalan is launching three limited sets, blending tradition and prestige, enclosing the following expressions: Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish, Triple Sherry Cask, and Solist Rum Cask. Drawing inspiration from the dragon’s symbolism of power and elegance, the packaging showcases vibrant designs. Each set centers around a Dragon Pearl, embraced by heavenly clouds, and intricately infused with elements from Kavalan Distillery and the Yilan region.
Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish
The pink gift box mirrors sherry cask notes. The distillery against the Snow Mountain Range symbolizes aromatic whisky craftsmanship. It contains Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish (40% – 700ml) and Kavalan Podium Single Malt Whisky (46% – 50ml). Suggested Retail Price: NT$ 1,700
Triple Sherry Cask
Inspired by the spirit’s colour, the gift box in festive red tones features a distillery view of the Pacific Ocean and Turtle Island. Barley and oak barrels symbolize gratitude for the land, and three sherry casks blend in harmony. The label extends into the box, creating a Lunar New Year ambiance. It contains Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky (40% – 700ml) and Kavalan Wine Cask Single Malt Whisky (54% – 50ml). Suggested Retail Price: NT$ 2,500
Solist Rum Cask
Drawing inspiration from the whisky’s hues, it boasts a prosperous golden theme. Reflecting sunlight on fertile plains, it echoes the distillation process, enhancing the Lunar New Year ambiance. It contains Kavalan Solist Rum Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky (50~59.9% – 700ml) and Kavalan Port Cask Single Malt Whisky (54% – 50ml). Suggested Retail Price: NT$ 4,000
