Lodestar Whiskey was founded in 2023 in Los Angeles by cousins Anna Axster and Wendelin von Schroder. They entered the spirits industry when the pandemic halted their business in music management and film production. Having acquired a taste for whiskey through their travels and at their big family gatherings, Anna and Wendelin decided to craft their own spirit.
This whiskey is a blend of straight high-rye bourbon whiskey and American single malt.
It is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), and it is already available in select retail markets in California and e-commerce. The suggested retail price is SRP $45.
