New releases for Bushmills

Bushmills has introduced two latest releases to the brand’s standard portfolio: the 25-Year Single Mail Port Pipe Finish and the 30-Year Single Malt PX Sherry Finish. The only common point between the two products is the starting distillate: Single Malt obtained from a triple distillation.

As for the Bushmills 25-Year Single Mail Port Pipe Finish, the product is transferred to ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks after distillation for almost six years. Subsequently, the distillate is transferred to first-fill port pipes made with European oak for 21 years. After the long finishing period, it is bottled at 46% ABV without cold filtration.
The product is already available on the US market (at a suggested retail price of $900) and will reach other markets worldwide later this year.

With reference, however, to Bushmills 30-Year Single Malt PX, Sherry Finish is the oldest product of the brand. The initial distillate is left to rest, for an initial period of 14 years, in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. After which, it is transferred to a PX sherry cask and left to rest for another 16 years. This version is also bottled at 46% ABV without cold filtration.
It is already available in the USA for $2,200 and will soon reach other world markets.
