Nikka Whisky reveals Taketsuru Pure Malt

Nikka Whisky has revealed its newest limited release, the Taketsuru Pure Malt Essentials 2026.

This limited-edition collection begins with Chapter 1, highlighting the Yoichi Distillery’s direct coal-fired distillation. Created in 2000 as a tribute to Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whisky, Taketsuru Pure Malt has become a hallmark of the brand. As it approaches its 30th anniversary in 2030, Nikka Whisky will release annual limited editions exploring various facets of this expression.

Taketsuru Pure Malt blends whiskies from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. It is bottled at 43% ABV and is available at selected fine wine and spirits retailers, La Maison du Whisky boutiques, or online at whisky.fr.
