Nikka Yoichi 10 Years Single Malt

The Nikka Yoichi 10 Years Single Malt marks Nikka’s first age statement release in several years. Founded by Masataka Taketsuru in 1934 under the previous name of Nippo Kaju, the Nikka distillery is located in Yochi, on the island of Hokkaido. Later, in 1969, the second distillery was also built on the island of Honshu.

This bottling is a new release of the Japanese brand. It celebrates the ten buildings in Yoichi that, in 2022, were awarded the title of “important cultural properties” of the nation by the Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs.

This 10-year-old single malt (45% ABV) is expected to be a continuous release, albeit in limited quantities released each year, and it will retail for a suggested retail price of $175.
