The Penelope 8-Year Tokaji Cask Finish features Indiana-sourced straight rye whiskey (95% rye, 5% malted barley) finished in Hungarian Tokaji wine casks. Tokaji Cask Finish is the third installment in the Cooper Series, which takes the brand’s straight whiskeys on a world tour, pairing Penelope with wine casks from the various wine-making regions.
The previous release had a six-year-old base, while this one was aged eight years before the finishing.
Bottled at 106 proof (53% ABV), there are 11.400 bottles available. The suggested retail price is $89.99.
