Penelope is introducing two new expressions: a bourbon from Kentucky and its first core rye from Indiana.
The bourbon features a three-grain mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% barley malt, differing from the brand’s usual four-grain mix.
The new rye expression has a mashbill of 93% rye and 7% malted barley. Previously, Penelope’s rye was reserved for special releases.
The bourbon has an ABV of 46%, a suggested retail price of $45, and will be available in select markets next month, with nationwide expansion to follow soon. The rye also has an ABV of 46%, a suggested retail price of $35, and will share the same availability timeline.
