Remus Gatsby Reserve was crafted by Ross & Squibb Distillery using the distillery’s finest 15-year-old reserves of straight bourbon whiskey. This bottle celebrates F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, “The Great Gatsby”.
As it happened for the previous release, also for this second edition the Reserve was aged for 15 years.
Two mash bill recipes were used by Master Distiller Ian Stirsman: 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley, and 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley.
It is bottled cask strength, with an ABV of 49.05% (98.1 proof). It is already available, with a suggested retail price of $199.99.
