The Frèdèric Mestreau VSOP is a Cognac aged for about 4 years before being bottled at 40° ABV. The Frédéric Mestreau estate eas founded in 1808 and produced Cognac until 1919, when the First World War significantly reduced the demand for this product. Recently, the brand has been brought back to life.
sweet and fruity. It delivers aromas of orange jam, honey and molasses. Then it turns to aromas of ripe banana. Delicate.

Overall, the Frèdèric Mestreau VSOP is a very easy to appreciate cognac, more on the sweet side. Far from a meditative cognac, it can be considered a decent entry-level product.
