The Square 6 Wheated Bourbon is the third release made exclusively at Heaven Hill’s Evan Williams Bourbon Experience in Louisville, Kentucky, just steps from the site of Williams’ original distillery, founded in 1783.
It is made of two distinct Wheated Bourbon mashbills blended after the aging. The first mashbill is 74% Corn, 16% Wheat, and 10% Malted Barley, and the second 68% Corn, 20% Wheat, and 12% Malted Barley.
“Blending two Wheated Bourbon mashbills gives Square 6 Wheated Bourbon a completely unique taste which differentiates it from others in the market,” says Jodie Filiatreau, artisanal Distiller. “We are excited for fans of the Square 6 line to try this latest release, and we hope Wheated Bourbon lovers will want to add this to their collections as well.”
It is bottled at 105 proof (52.5% ABV).
