The Templeton Rye Finished in Tequila Casks is a collaboration between Templeton and Tequila Corralejo.
It is the fifth release in the brand’s limited edition Barrel Finish Series. It all starts with Templeton American straight rye (95% rye, 5% malted barley),aged for a minimum of six years in American oak., and then placed into former Tequila Corralejo 99,000 Horas Extra Añejo Tequila for 3 to 6 months to finish its maturation.
A total of 4.200 casks were produced. It is bottled at 92 proof (46%).
