The Juggernaut is the eleventh edition of WhistlePig’s Boss Hog series. This release is inspired by Thandai, a traditional Indian aromatic drink made with nuts and spices.
The rye whiskey is aged in new American oak barrels and then further matured in barrels seasoned with a blend of aged rye, saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, fennel, poppy, and black peppercorn.
These are single-barrel releases with an ABV ranging from 51.9% to 52.6%, which translates to 103.8 to 105.2 proof. The Juggernaut is available in select markets and on the brand’s website, with a suggested retail price of $599.99.
