The Yellowstone Rum Casks is the second release for the brand’s Special Finishes Collection, which follows the Toasted Stave Finish that was launched in October 2023. For this release, Limestone Branch Master Distiller, Stephen Beam, started with four-year-old bourbon, made using a traditional mash bill. The bourbon was then finished for nine weeks in barrels that previously held rum, distilled with molasses made from sugarcane grown in Cuba. The final product was bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).
