Blue Run Spirits has announced its rye whiskey releases for the 2021 holiday season. For this season, there will be the Holiday Rye Cask Strength Single bottle (gift pack with rock glasses also available), and the 12 days of Blue Run Single Barrel High Rye Bourbon. The 2021 Holiday Edition Blue Run Rye Cask Strength is made from the same stocks as the brand’s Straight Golden Rye Whiskey. It’s bottled at 106 proof with an MSRP of $139.99 for the 750-ml bottle. You can purchase just the single bottle, or they are offering a high end gift set. The set will include two Aged & Ore brand rocks glasses. The gift sets will be available mid-December, and have an MSRP of $229.99 for the set.
Starting December 1, Blue Run’s 12 Days of Single Barrel High Rye Bourbon will begin. Each day a different single barrel expression of High Rye Bourbon will be released. These single barrel’s were contract distilled at Castle & Key Distillery. The 12 Days of Single Barrel’s will be released until December 12. The barrels chosen for the bottlings have a #4 alligator char, and were aged in Frankfort and Bardstown, KY. They will range from 115-117 proof (57.5-58.5% ABV), with an MSRP of $139.99 per bottle.
