The Bowmore 18 Year Old Manzanilla belongs to The Vintner’s Trilogy series, released at the end of 2017. In the specific case of this 18 years old version, the aging took place for 13 years in ex-Bourbon barrels and, for the last 5, in Sherry Manzanilla barrels.
At first, a peated aroma is perceived; that said, it is very fresh right away. Then floral notes and a hint of cinnamon. Marine scents and iodine follow.
