Reservoir presents a very limited edition for their Virginia bourbon that comes uniquely finished in ex-red wine casks of Bordeaux Meritage.
Notes of red fruits, maple syrup, honey, and extra dark chocolate. The finish is medium-long, with dark chocolate, wood spices, and maple syrup. Very satisfying, well-balanced, and velvety. The aromatic profile is rich and complex. A whisky that skillfully combines the woody aromas of bourbon with an important winy character.
93Among the rums tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
