With the harvest of 2025 recently completed, Kilchoman is excited to launch the 15th Edition of 100% Islay.
This year’s release features a 9-year-old whisky that is a blend of 54 ex-bourbon barrels, distilled from their 2014 and 2015 Concerto and Publican barley harvests. The use of Islay-grown barley and a slightly lower level of peat results in a more viscous palate, showcasing elevated citrus and malty notes compared to Machir Bay and Sanaig. Bottled at 50% ABV, it also offers a bit more intensity.
The 100% Islay range tells the story of the land and its people, as it is Islay’s only single farm, single malt whisky. It is produced from barley sown in their own fields, malted and distilled by hand, and matured in their warehouses. It stays on Islay until it is ready to be shared.
The 100% Islay 15th Edition will be available in the UK and Europe starting this week, with further availability in other markets to follow in the coming weeks.
