Wilson & Morgan Linkwood 18yo is a 2025 release, drawn from a single cask distilled in 2007 at the Linkwood distillery in Speyside. Matured in a refill hogshead before spending five years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, it was released in only 229 bottles (#804120).

TASTING NOTES - GLENDALOUGH POT STILL PEATED

Nose

Elegant and winey, with delicate fruity notes, reacalling apricot and peach, together with orange peel. Seasoned oak and a touch of raisin follow.

Palate

Round and refined, a little on the dry side. The apricot and peach are confirmed, joined now by stone fruit as well.

Finish

Medium long, slightly dry. Spices and a mineral touch.

Overall, the Wilson & Morgan Linkwood 18 is a composed and refined whisky. It delivers an elegant and enjoyable warming flavor profile.
