Among the rums tested in 2020, the goal was to give more space to the new releases, taking into consideration, however, also the new editions of products present in the core range of distilleries. The ranking was created by testing available products, even if, as often happens in the rum world, some bottlings are limited productions.
By clicking on the rums depicted in the images, once revealed, it is possible to access the description of the products and the relative tasting notes.
Among the rum tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews, those who scored the best were selected. These products were then tested once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
