Malting Season is the annual, limited edition release from Benriach. With these editions, the brand pays homage to the seasonal production techniques followed by the distillery. This bottling, therefore, honors this tradition.
The Master Blender Rachel Barrie personally chose the concert barley to use in the production, which was then malted in the autumn of 2013. The single malt is left to rest in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled with an ABV of 48.9%, a little higher than the last edition.
It is already available, but only for selected markets and for a limited time. The recommended retail price is $ 159.99.
