The Bunnahabhain 12-Year-Old Cask Strength – 2022 edition is available. It is the second release of the Cask Strength version, and it is bottled at 56.6% ABV. For the aging, first and second-fill oloroso sherry casks and some ex-bourbon barrels are used.
The brand states that the Cask Strength version “creates really intense, rich, and concentrated flavours. With lots of spice, orange marmalade, and bold dried fruit notes balanced with toasted oak.”
