Castle & Key Restoration Rye Debuts

Founded in 2014, Castle & Key so far has only produced Vodka and Gin. This will be the first whiskey with their distillery name on it. “We are more than excited to release our Restoration Rye, a spirit that is thoughtful in every detail, from grain to glass, and is a true representation of the team’s hard work and attention to detail over the past five years,” says Quality Manager Jon Brown. Castle & Key Restoration Rye will be released in two batches. According to the brand, no batch of whiskey they produce will taste the same. Each of the batches uses the exact same mash bill of 63% rye, 20% malted barley, and 17% yellow corn.

CASTLE & KEY RESTORATION RYE BATCH #1
This batch yielded a total of 60 barrels.  This Whiskey was bottled at 103 Proof (51.5% ABV).

CASTLE & KEY RESTORATION RYE BATCH #2
This batch yielded a total of 57 barrels.  Whiskey from batch #2 was bottled at 99 Proof (49.5% ABV).

Castle & Key Restoration Rye will be available December 2020. Distribution for these batches is only in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, and Georgia. Either of the batches will be $39.99 MSRP per bottle.
