Macallan has decided to celebrate the six decades of filmography dedicated to agent 007 with the limited edition Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release.
The film saga was inaugurated in 1962 with the first film Dr. No. Over the years, in the role of the secret agent, born from the pen of Ian Fleming, six actors have taken turns giving greater notoriety to the literary character. The Macallan has chosen to celebrate them with an edition that consists of six different labels and packaging, each with a design and a color representative of the referenced decade. As for the distillate, the Master Whiskey Maker Kirsteen Campbell chose a distillate with a “Suisse gold” color (Bond’s mother was Swiss), bottled at 43.7% ABV (87.4 proof). This version was released in September and will hit the US market in February 2023. It will have a suggested price of $ 1007.
