Michter’s 20 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon

After a two year hiatus, Michter’s 20 year Kentucky Straight Bourbon is coming back. The last release happened in 2019. This is considered one of the rarer bottlings in the Michter’s portfolio. This is only released when the tasting team at Michter’s approves it. With such a limited release, if the team doesn’t feel it is up to that standard, they don’t bottle it for sale. May be the reason why there was a couple year break from the 20 year release. The 20 Year bourbon has been aging for two decades in fire-charred new American white oak barrels.

The 2021 Michter’s 20 Year Bourbon is bottled at 114.2 (57.1% ABV) with an MSRP of $750. No exact bottling amounts have been released. Previous years have been very limited, only in the couple hundreds of bottles. The 20 Year will start shipping to select retailers in November 2021.
