TASTING NOTES - Akashi Meisei

Nose

deep notes of malt, with a drop of lemon, cedar, not overripe yellow fruit, melon. Vanilla sugar. Wildflower honey, delicate and light. A touch of short-lived wood.

Palate

the entrance is soft, fresh and light, with sparkling notes of ginger and light vanilla. Slight spices of wood.

Finish

short but pleasant, just more bitter and dry than the palate, almost barely bitter almond. A distant hint of citrus (lemon). Slight salinity.

Akashi Meisei is overall a round and soft product, fresh and light, refined. The limits of the experience are to be found in the limited depth of the aromatic palette, but also in the intensity of the aromas.
