The Bunnahabhain distillery, located on Islay in Scotland, has been offering well-known malts all over the world since 1881. First of all, the distillery stands in front of the sea, the warehouses overlook a small gulf giving a unique view. A peculiarity, that distinguishes the distillery, is the low use of peated malts, often used for limited or very young editions, while the core-range products are not peated. This 18 year old, previously labeled with a Roman number to indicate its age (XVIII), has undergone a packaging change.

The Bunnahabhain 18 Years Old - 2018 might not be an Islay's style peated whisky, this malt convinces in terms of intensity and complexity. Compared to previous releases, the quality has not diminished, underlining the consistency of this product over the years.
