Kilchoman 100% Islay 9th Edition represents the ninth edition of this bottling, which is released annually on the market starting from 2011. In this specific case it is created starting from the crops of 2007 and 2009. It has an aging of over nine years and is was released around mid-September 2019. The new edition of 100% Islay is aged exclusively in ex bourbon barrels (the eighth edition was also rested in sherry barrels).
100% refers to the fact that the entire production chain is carried out on the island of Islay, starting from the cultivation of barley, all the processes up to bottling and aging.
