Murray McDavid Benriach 10yo Rye Finish is a 2025 release belonging to the Benchmark series of the independent bottler. The spirit has been finished in casks which have previously been used for Koval Rye.
Very fresh and balsamic, minty, with a solid core of apples and golden plums which can be easily appreciated. The rye dimension is spicy and very fresh, mellow and enjoyable.
A fruit salad based on golden plums, melon and red apples, on top of which a sprinkle of light custard cream and many mint leaves have been added. Creamy, yet still fresh and light.
Medium, fresh and rye-based, balsamic and nice.
