Wilson & Morgan Glenlossie 2010 is a 2024 release from the Italian independent bottler, with an outturn of 689 bottles.
Very familiar and welcoming. The PX Christmas notes are all here, with candied fruit, panettone, wet sultanas, quality candied orange zest. The fruitier side is of apricots, peaches and dried figs. Very traditional, yet simple to appreciate.
Warm array of sweet spices, cinnamon, star anise, bakery spices. Nice orange quality and some distant oakiness, slightly toasted.
Medium duration, still on the same notes.
Wilson & Morgan Glenlossie 2010 is a very simple to appreciate, familiar, dessert-style whiskey, where the 30 months finish in PX are providing a clear, Christmas lunch character, which is helping drinkability and easy identification. Maybe not surprising, yet a true classic.
