Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve is a Jamaican rum, which contains a blend of rums aged from 6 to 10 years, that have matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. This line marks an important turning point for the brand, as Worth Park until a few years ago produced for other bottlers. The production of Worthy Park Estate began around 1740 and then stopped in the 1960s, due to the Second World War. In 2004, however, the distillery was completely rebuilt.
Very fresh. Green apple and tea emerge, joined after a few seconds by notes of wood and cocoa. Then black pepper and candied orange peak through.
It releases notes of nuts, mainly hazelnut, and green apple returns. There are also faint spicy hints perceptible.
Medium persistence. Wood and black pepper, with nuances of chili pepper.
Overall, the Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve is a rum that is simple to appreciate and particularly fresh, both on the nose and on the palate. It gives rise to a good sense of fulfillment.
