This special edition whiskey was released to commemorate January 19, 2025, the day the American single malt whiskey category was officially recognized by the federal government. It is made from 100% malted barley and was initially aged in new, charred American oak barrels.
The whiskey finished maturing in casks that previously held bourbon and blonde ale, resulting in a total maturation time of at least 12 years. Bottled at 60% ABV (120 proof), it is now available for a suggested retail price of $199.99.
