The Epicurean Amarone Wine Cask Finish belongs to the limited series “Wood” of the brand, now in its seventh edition.
The blended whiskey that is presented this year comes from a selection of single malts from the Lowlands, which were initially aged in American oak barrels. The distillate is then poured into a single cask that had previously contained Amarone wine. Here it is left to rest for another two years.
It is bottled at 48% alcohol without cold filtration. This release is already being distributed and will retail for a suggested retail price of £65.00.
