Westland Garryana Edition 7

Garryana is the seventh edition of Westland’s Outpost Range collection, a series that celebrates provenance in the Pacific Northwest.
Also this edition continues to enhance the Quercus garryana, a species of oak typical of the area. In Westland, however, they also used Washington State syrah and casks of Cabernet Sauvignon red wine for the finish. A small proportion of first-fill ex-bourbon casks were also used.
The mash bill calls for the use of different types of barley: Washington Select Pale Malt, Munich Malt, Extra Special Malt, Pale Chocolate Malt, Brown Malt, Baird’s Heavily Peated Malt.

Only 6,900 bottles have been released for this seventh edition and are expected to ship this month, at a suggested retail price of $149.99.
