With 2023 starting more than a month ago, Woodford Reserve releases the Double Double Oaked 2022, the first release of this year for the Distillery series.
The whiskey is obtained starting from the fully matured Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon, to then let it age for a further year in heavily toasted and slightly charred American oak barrels. The distillate thus obtained (90.4 proof – 45.2% ABV) is poured into 375 ml bottles.
Available as early as mid-January, it is available for purchase at Woodford Reserve Distillery and select Kentucky retail outlets for a suggested retail price of $59.99.
