The nose opens with crystalline sugarcane, pomelo zest, white flowers, and a subtle chalky minerality. On the palate it’s vibrant and structured, delivering crisp herbs, green mango, and peppery citrus wrapped in a firm, earthy backbone. The finish is long, tense, and deeply rooted in terroir, with lingering cane fiber and mineral salinity. This rum truly showcases the uniqueness of Guadeloupe’s terroir.
95Among the whiskies tested in blind tastings and reviews throughout the year, those scoring the best get reselected. These products were then tried once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made.
