Six new whiskies introduced by Clydebuilt brand

Boutique Scotch whisky label Clydebuilt expands its portfolio with six new Single Cask expressions.

Ardgowan Distillery Company (ADC), home of Clydebuilt, was established in 2017 and launched its distillery in June 2025. Located on the Firth of Clyde, the brand honors the region’s shipbuilding heritage.

In spite of industry challenges, Ardgowan has invested £5m in mature whisky stocks and plans an additional £4m this year. Distillery Manager Laura Davies personally selected the six new releases from their inventory.

The Single Cask offerings include:

• 2013 Bourbon Barrel, Aberlour Distillery £120.00, 192 bottles (ABV 58.1%).
• 2015 Sherry Hogshead, Aultmore Distillery £65.00, 305 bottles (ABV 56.6%).
• 2012 Bourbon Hogshead, Benriach Distillery £95.00, 226 bottles (ABV 56%).
• 2005 Bourbon Hogshead, Cameronbridge Distillery £79.00, bottle count undisclosed (ABV 54.3%).
• 2012 Bourbon Barrel, Glen Garioch Distillery £85.00, 237 bottles (ABV 57.2%).
• 2015 Sherry Hogshead Linkwood Distillery £59.00, 332 bottles (ABV 56.3%).

Each whisky is bottled at natural cask strength, without added coloring or chill filtration.

Davies commented, “These six whiskies stand out for their balance of distillery character and cask influence, presented as if sampled straight from the cask.”

Last September, ADC expanded its global distribution partnerships, increasing availability in Europe, North America, and Asia. The new Single Cask bottlings will begin rolling out through specialist retailers.
