15 STARS has launched First West Explorer, the fourth release in its First West collection. This new expression marks the brand’s first entirely in-house-distilled bourbon, crafted from its proprietary baby black corn mashbill.
As a four-grain bourbon that includes both baby black and yellow corn along with rye, wheat, and malted barley, First West Explorer offers a unique five-grain profile. Aged through the Flavor Proofed™ process.
“Introducing our first fully distilled expression is exciting, especially with our proprietary black corn mashbill,” said Ricky Johnson, co-founder of 15 STARS.
Housed in a historic-inspired blue bottle that pays tribute to bourbon’s Kentucky origins, is bottled at an ABV of 47.5% and retails for $50 per bottle.
