Ardbeg doubles distillation capacity

Ardbeg announced they will double their production capacity. Works will begin soon and their end is fixed for late 2019. The distillery will add two more stills bringing the total number to 4. The expansion will not stop the regular production, but will serve to satisfy the high demand of the classic peated Ardbeg scotch.

This expansion goes to follow the Kilchoman one, the renewal of a big part of Bunnahabhain, the rebuilt of Port Ellen and the birth of Ardnahoe: Islay has never been so active.
