Bushmills has set the bar high with their inaugural release of the Rare Casks series. Back in 1992, this 100% unpeated Irish malted barley was originally distilled three times. Aged in former Oloroso Sherry and ex-bourbon barrels for 11 years, then transferred into former Cognac barrels for the next 17 years of its aging life. Straight bottling without chill-filtration at a cask strength 46.7% ABV (93.4 Proof).
The USA is the exclusive release of this extremely limited edition bottling. Only 500 bottles will be produced. MSRP is $500 per 750-ml bottle. Hitting retailers in October 2020.
