Laphroaig Cairdeas 2022 Warehouse 1

The Laphroaig Cairdeas 2022 Warehouse 1 is a new expression from the Islay distillery, available only to the “Friends of Laphroaig“.

This whisky is matured in the distillery’s iconic warehouse, which is very close to the Islay coast.  It is a limited-edition single malt, aged in first-fill ex-Maker’s. The brand states “warehouse 1’s rare four-storey construction, with varying levels of temperature and humidity, and exposure to rugged conditions tease out our enigmatic flavours and lend a maritime quality to the final whisky”.

The Laphroaig Cairdeas 2022 Warehouse 1  is bottled at 52.2% (104.4 proof). The price is 88€ (around $93).
