Diageo announced a new release. The product was inspired by Talisker refinement method in use at the beginning of 1900. Distilled in 1978, it will be one of the most aged bottlings in the history of Talisker distillery. The maturation takes place first in barrels of American oak and then in barrels of amontillado sherry, coming from Delgado Zuleta, historical producers of Jerez sherry.
The bottle will be available from the end of June in specialized retailers. Price will be £ 2,750.
