Octomore 11 series

During the last week, Bruichladdich announced the Octomore 11 series, which features four new single malts. As usual, for the Octomore bottlings, they are non-chill filtered and with no color added. All of the malted barley used in these four single malts is 100% Scottish-grown. Here are the four new Octomore 11:

OCTOMORE 10 YEAR 2020 EDITION

• Made from Optic barley, distilled in 2009.
• 208 ppm
• Aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, both 1st and 2nd refill
• Bottled at 54.3% ABV (108,6 proof)
• Suggested retail price: $234.99

OCTOMORE 11.1

• Made from Concerto & Propino barley, distilled in 2014
• 139.6 ppm
• Aaged for 5 years in first-fill American whiskey casks
• Bottled at 59.4% ABV (118,8 proof)
• Suggested retail price: $199.99

OCTOMORE 11.2

• Made from Concerto & Propino barley, distilled in 2013
• 139.6 ppm
• Aged for 5 years. Two batch, one matured exclusively in ex-European oak wine barrels from Pauillac (25% of the bottling), and the second one in ex-American oak whiskey casks and in wine casks
• 58.6% ABV (117,2 proof)

OCTOMORE 11.3

• Concerto barley, distilled in 2013
• 194 ppm
• Aged for 5 years in first-fill American whiskey casks
• Bottled at 61.7% ABV (122,4 proof)
• Suggested retail price: $259.99
