Bernheim Original is a whiskey produced by Heaven Hill Distillery and owes its name to the well-known Bernheim distillery, located in Louisville. It is a wheat whiskey, that is, made starting from wheat as a raw material. It is a whiskey that is aged for seven years and holds the distinction for being the first American new-style whiskey (made from wheat) to be introduced after prohibition.
