Heaven Hill’s Elijah Craig 21 Year Old returns

Elijah Craig 21-Year-Old Single Barrel bourbon is making its return more than a decade after its original release. Bottled at an ABV of 47%, this ultra-aged whiskey features a mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley.

Fans lined up for bottles priced at $300, with Heaven Hill reserving 1,789 additional bottles for the holiday season, honoring the year the brand’s namesake built his distillery.

This release continues the growth of Elijah Craig’s single-barrel lineup, joining the 15- and 18-year-old offerings. The 15-year-old debuted in March.

When it first appeared in 2013, the 21-year-old replaced the 20-year-old Single Barrel and was followed by a 23-year-old in 2014.
