The Westland Solum Edition 2 is the second release of this bottling (here all the info on Westland Solum Edition 1), that is very similar to the first one, but matured for a longer time, precisely one more yaer.
As for the edition 1, the peat used was harvested at 2 hours south of Seattle and was harvested in a sustainable way. Using 100% Skagit Valley Malting peated malted barley (8-12 ppm) in the distillation process, it was then aged in the following cask types: Cooper’s Reserve new American oak, Cooper’s Select new American oak, and first-fill bourbon barrels.
Only 5.212 bottles were made. It is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).
