Westward Whiskey American Single Malt announced the release of the Westward Whisky Cask Strength, which is a full strength version of the American Single Malt bottling. To create this whisky, the company uses malted barley grown in the Pacific Northwest.
New charred American oak barrels are used for the aging of the Westward Whiskey American Single Malt Cask Strength, which happens in Oregon.
Founder and CEO of Westward Whiskey Thomas Mooney stated “We’re thrilled to be expanding our flagship portfolio of whiskeys as we continually reimagine what single malts can be. We first introduced Cask Strength at the demand of our Oregon fans, and over the years, many of our visitors have reached out to ask how they can enjoy this whiskey at home. Today, we are excited to share it with both distillery visitors and whiskey enthusiasts across the country.”
Westward Cask Strength is bottled at 67,5% ABV (125 proof). It’s available in the US and also from the distillery website WestwardWhiskey.com, with an SRP of $99.99.
